SKY QUAKES: Natural or government related Occurrence. Real or misidentify.

Definition (An attempt to define)
You be the judge. Sky quakes are best defined as a possible atmospheric disturbance that is described to be a loud and long bang sound (Usually a duration of 10 to 45 seconds) which causes rattling of loose objects and trembles the air (Feeling the shock waves hit you in constantly).It gives the appearances similar to respects of an earthquake but with the air trembling with no distinct double bang as a sonic boom, no seismic activity can be recorded due to it not being a disturbance in the ground and thus being unable to be recorded to an extent that seismotectonics and other geographical area of science will not be able to recognize it due to it not being able to be recorded, verified by instruments, and no confirmed source of a epicenter. It is severe enough to light up government and media switchboards but no know major damage. It usually seen near military installations, but not always near or in the same geographic area of a military installation. No known confirmed sources of explosion or fast moving objects picked up on radar or ground seismic instruments.

What would causes a phenomenon like this?

Possible identification of a cause of it is only in theory. Roughly it is thought that a object in the atmosphere or wind atmospheric pressure at altitudes of over 5,000ft moving (possibly object) or shifting (atmospheric pressure) at a speed of mach 5 (3691.05mph) or great. Which in itself will ripple the troposphere.

Reports of Occurrences

No official report or official agency of a acceptable reputation is around to record such incidents due to the Sky Quake being unable to be verified as a real occurrence but one of only in theory. How ever there are sites and independent sites and agencies that are nonofficial that due take the report of occurrences. Possible Natural Occurrence
Thoughts of possible space debris or rocks from the solar system may of been traveling at a high speed and skipped through the atmosphere much like skipping a rock at a lake. Impacts of meteoroids on earth have been classified recently in the United States in early 2009. The United States is the one who generally disseminates the information to other astrological agencies throughout the world.

Possible Weaponization of Nature.
The ability to use natural occurrences as a weapons is a possibility and it is either confirmed to an extent or denied by many governments. Use of using sounds and shockwaves have been record in times of the Bible and as recently by Nazi Germany in World War 2 and current.

Possible Military Project of NATO.
Before we go off saying that all conspiracies are those of a single government (United States). Be advise that there are such things as joint conspiracies. When I was in the military, in order to be loaned out from the ARMY to Nato control for a a certain time you need a Top Secret Clearance and the ability to keep your mouth shut. There is only one official project name that is officially know but no details are officially released on it. In the military, the only thing that can be mentioned about something that is confidential, secret, top secret or sci is the project or operation name. The name is of the project or the operation is ALWAYS unclassified. So what project am I referring to that has a connection to this? It will be Project Aurora.

It's true, gardening experts say, and expect similar oddities to represent the new norm.

It is now safe to plant new species in many parts of the nation, according to a new government map released Wednesday showing new growing guidelines for the first time in decades. A gradual northward warming trend makes it possible to plant trees and other perennials that would have perished in colder zones.

The "hardiness" zones, the gospel to the the nation's 82 million gardeners that are printed on the back of seed packs and catalogs, are based on average minimum temperatures.

"It is a good thing the government has updated the map," says Woodrow Nelson, director of marketing communications for the Arbor Day Foundation. "Our members have been noticing these climate changes for years and have been successfully growing new kinds of trees in places they wouldn't grow before."

For example, Pennsylvania's growing zone was considered risky for Southern Magnolias, according to the old government map dating to 1990. But the new map, based on updated weather statistics from 1996 to 2005, puts Pennsylvania, like much of the Northeast, in a warmer growing zone.

Lopsided arrangement of continents could lead to reversals in Earth's magnetic field

Continents moving around over millions of years in the slow-motion geologic jigsaw puzzle known as plate tectonics could trigger the occasional swapping of the north and south magnetic poles.

Assumed to be caused by random fluctuations in the circulation of the molten iron core, the flips may actually be tied to what’s going on at Earth’s surface. At times in the geologic past when landmasses have bunched together on one side of the equator, the Earth’s magnetic field has begun flipping soon thereafter, suggests a study to appear in Geophysical Research Letters. 

“What we see clearly is that the surface positions of the continents are linked with the frequency of the reversals,” says group member François Pétrélis, a geophysicist at the French research agency CNRS in Paris. 

Other scientists aren’t so sure, cautioning that more work needs to be done to confirm any such link.

Computer simulations have shown how molten iron in the spinning core can generate magnetic fields that spontaneously flip direction every so often, so that a compass that once pointed north would suddenly begin pointing south. The last reversal happened around 780,000 years ago. Before that there were times when no flips happened for tens of millions of years, followed by periods with lots of flips.

Curious about what drove these changes, Pétrélis and his colleagues mathematically probed the way liquid iron flows in the core. In earlier work, they found that if the flow is interrupted so that it no longer moves symmetrically with respect to the equator, the planet’s magnetic field soon reverses.

Now the researchers have calculated where the continents sat at various points in the past, to see when they had equatorial symmetry. A 6.6 magnitude earthquake has struck the South Shetland Islands. According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the tremor hit at Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 13:40:17 UTC. It was located at 60.755°S, 55.473°W.

The quake had a depth of 1 km (0.6 mile) and is described by the USGS as "poorly constrained". The epicentre was at a distance of 464 km (288 miles) west (267°) from Coronation Island, South Orkney Islands; 1017 km (632 miles) south (173°) from Stanley, Falkland Islands; and 1256 km (781 miles) southeast (138°) from Punta Arenas, Chile.

A Green alert for shaking-related fatalities and economic losses have been issued by the USGS. There is a low likelihood of casualties and damage. There are likely to be no affected structures in this region. Historically, there were no earthquakes with significant population exposure to shaking within a 400 km radius of this event. There were no cities available in the USGS database within the exposure map boundary.

NOTE: USGS has this earthquake listed as a 6.6 magnitude, the Tsunami Report registered a 6.7 magnitude with a depth of just 1 km. Stations closest to the epicentre measured it anywhere from a 5.9 to a 7.5 magnitude.

Another 6.2 magnitude tremor has just hit the same region. This one hit on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 14:21:32 UTC and was located at 60.797°S, 55.999°W.

Large-scale seismic activity rising along planet’s southern pole

January 15, 2012 – ANTARTICA - A strong and shallow series of earthquakes have erupted near the remote South Shetland Islands region of Antarctica on Sunday, experts from the U.S. Geological Survey said. The earthquakes in the intense tectonically-activated series measured a 6.6 magnitude, followed by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake and a 5.1 aftershock. The epicenter of the earthquakes was at various depths of from one kilometer (0.62 miles) to 14 km (9.2 miles) below the earth’s surface and some 464 kilometers west of Coronation Island in distance. No destructive tsunami was created, according to the U.S. NOAA warning center. The earthquake series is worrisome because it’s further evidence of what I have been warning about for over the past 6 months, that the Southern hemisphere, particularly around the periphery of Antarctic, is shows increasing signs of seismic destabilization. On January 12, there was a swarm of five moderate earthquakes which erupted south of Africa- the strongest of which was a 5.3 and a 5.5. On January 13, the South Sandwich Islands, north of Antarctica, was hit with a 5.1, and 5.2. On January 14 the region was struck again with a 5.0 earthquake and another 4.9 on January 15^th. Not only are earthquakes increasing along the southern polar region but in November of 2011, the Tasmania’s Antarctic Climate and Ecosystem centre found that the South Ocean was storing more heat than any other ocean on the planet. The shape of the earth, a mal-formed spheroid, whose center of gravity is becoming increasing displaced by the turbulent shifting of the planet’s mass due to a wave of strong earthquakes that have rattled the planet over the last 7 years. These large mega-thrust earthquakes are exacting a terrible toll of stress on the planet’s angular momentum. In 2004, the planet suffered a devastating 9.1 mega-thrust earthquake in the Indian Ocean near the Sunda Strait. In February of 2010, Chile was rocked by a 8.8 magnitude earthquake and in March of 2011, Japan was similarly hit with a 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami. In April of 2011, the European satellite Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer, or GOCE released a detailed map of Earth’s gravity field. ...

25 volcanoes in Indonesia are now showing abnormal activity

Padang, West Sumatra. Twenty-five volcanoes in Indonesia are now showing abnormal activity or have been put on alert or watch status, presidential special aide Andi Arief said here on Saturday.

“According to official data, 25 volcanoes are now under alert or watch status and they must be given priority with regard to disaster mitigation planning at district or city levels,” he said at a workshop on journalists’ role in disaster management.

Earth Flips Magnetic Poles All the Time

Scientists understand that Earth's magnetic field has flipped its polarity many times over the millennia. In other words, if you were alive about 800,000 years ago, and facing what we call north with a magnetic compass in your hand, the needle would point to 'south.' This is because a magnetic compass is calibrated based on Earth's poles. The N-S markings of a compass would be 180 degrees wrong if the polarity of today's magnetic field were reversed. Many doomsday theorists have tried to take this natural geological occurrence and suggest it could lead to Earth's destruction. But would there be any dramatic effects? The answer, from the geologic and fossil records we have from hundreds of past magnetic polarity reversals, seems to be 'no.'

Reversals are the rule, not the exception. Earth has settled in the last 20 million years into a pattern of a pole reversal about every 200,000 to 300,000 years, although it has been more than twice that long since the last reversal. A reversal happens over hundreds or thousands of years, and it is not exactly a clean back flip. Magnetic fields morph and push and pull at one another, with multiple poles emerging at odd latitudes throughout the process. Scientists estimate reversals have happened at least hundreds of times over the past three billion years. And while reversals have happened more frequently in "recent" years, when dinosaurs walked Earth a reversal was more likely to happen only about every one million years.
