Severe thunderstorms are expected through Tuesday evening from eastern portions Oklahoma and Texas to northwest Louisiana and far southwest Arkansas. Damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes are all possible. You can see the areas at risk shaded in red on the first map below.


These storms spawned tornadoes that hit the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area Tuesday afternoon. 


Wednesday, the threat of severe storms shifts eastward into the lower-Mississippi Valley. Damaging winds and hail are the main threats, however we cannot rule out the chance of a few tornadoes.
