Crazy, Strange, Creatures Found.

When Muppets Attack: Strange Creature Found in Namibia

Think you've seen it all when it comes to strange creatures out there in the world? Think again. Adelaide Now reports that a strange, muppet-like creature was recently shot by Namibian hunters.
What may seem something of a hoax at first, the creature pictured above was was actually stumbled upon by a hunting party while out searching the dense jungle around the African country. Upon seeing it one hunter shot and wounded it while it was apparently out foraging for food, at which point it ran off.
Following the creature the rest of the party stumbled upon what appeared to be a den of some sort with other similar creatures. Once cornered the wounded one attacked the hunters and was killed while the other creatures ran off.
Nobody is quite sure what to make of this new creature, though its body is being examined by local authorities to determine just what it may be.
Until a full report can be made just be careful to watch out for other muppets in the trees should you be heading outside these days.
Cascade Monster
Known as the Cascade Monster, this clip of what could be a blob that is undiscovered ventures right past a camera. Like if you think it is a living creature, dislike if you think it is simply just whale blubber or something else!

Violations of the Geneva Conventions...Plum Island

Bio-Warfare Time Bomb

Trip to Plum Island

Jesse Ventura's Trip to Plum Island

|  | Comments (15)

To start the new season his show, "Conspiracy Theory With Jesse Ventura," the pro wrestler turned Minnesota governor has been nosing around Long Island Sound
Plum Island recently has been opened up for real-estate speculators after plans were announced to move its shadowy government animal-testing laboratory to Kansas. But as Ventura and his crew were storming the island by boat, they were under close watch by the Coast Guard.
"What do they think I am, a terrorist?" he asks from the dock.
"You know, I find it very, very interesting. I'm a former governor, a former mayor, a former Navy SEAL with the top security clearance, yet I can't go on Plum Island," Ventura says. "I get the Coast Guard tailing me, I get vehicles along the shore watching our every move. Where I come from, if you're the one paying the money, that makes you the boss. How come we the people aren't the boss anymore? We're the one paying the salary of these people, and yet they deprive us of knowing what they do on this island."
His report calls Plum Island, off Orient Point, N.Y., and 10 miles from the coast of Connecticut, "the government's real life island of horror - a secret bio-warfare lab a stone's throw from New York City and Boston ... a U.S. facility created by former Nazi scientists that could wipe out the human race."
The report strongly suggests that Lyme disease, which was identified in deer ticks in Connecticut 35 years ago and named after the town just across the Sound from Plum Island, was the result of experiments gone wrong on the island now under the control of Homeland Security.
"It seems very circumstantial," Ventura says over the phone from Minnesota, "but the godfather of Plum Island was an ex-Nazi, and his expertise was infecting ticks and mosquitoes with biological germs, What do you think he's going to work on on Plum Island? Auto mechanics?
"And is it circumstantial that the first cases of what they would call Lyme disease was found a stone's throw from Plum Island in Lyme?"
The job of "Conspiracy Theory" is to bring up these questions, along with those raised by the washing up of weird, unidentifiable animals on Long Island, with names like the Montauk Monster.
Besides, he says, why is Homeland Security running an animal disease lab? And he has more questions: "What's the idea of us experimenting in bio warfare?" he asks. "I thought that was against the rules. We invaded Iraq because Saddam had chemical weapons. We've been using chemical weapons for 40 or 50 years. What's the hypocricy there?"
The Coast Guard did indeed chase his boat when he tried to get close to Plum Island, Ventura says, but "what did they think I was going to do? I don't want to set foot on the place."
Plum Island is the first of a number of stories covered this season. Future episodes tackle a secret billionaire's club with the power to manipulate markets, government internment camps, the inevitable Area 51, and the conspiracy that got Ventura interested in this field in the first place: the JFK assassination.
"In was the mid-'80s when I was in my pro-wrestling career, everything switched from driving and trains to flying and airports. ... There's no more boring way to travel than planes. So I began reading. I found the Kennedy assassination interesting. So I read every book I could get my hands on. It came to light to me ... that our government is not honest with us most of the time."
Of course, Ventura was part of the government for a time as well. He first served as mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minn., from 1991 to 1995 before shocking the nation by winning election for governor of Minnesota in 1998, serving one term.
"A politician makes it a career," Ventura says. "I'm a statesman. I had one term and got out."
When "Conspiracy Theory" started in December 2009 on truTV, it drew more than 1.6 million viewers, breaking a network record for largest audience for a new series launch.
"Everywehre I go, including New York City, regular people on the street when we're out shooting, shake my hand and say, 'Governor, thank you for courage, thank you for what you're doing here. You're the only one with courage that bring them to light'."
"Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura" starts its second season Friday at 10 p.m. on truTV.

Surprising? Not really.

It's pretty sad when the things that surprise you involve beauty queens having moral values and intelligence and the things that don't surprise you involve a government with its hidden agendas and corrupt agencies.

The Washington Post today posted an article that states that federal officials were aware of AIG's bonus payments to its executives. Yes, those are the outlandishly high bonus payments that were supposed to be retaining bonuses that you would think would be given only in the case of good company performance. However, that is obviously not the case. Yes, this is the company that we gave billions in TARP money to and they gave it to foreign countries and used it for other things such as bonuses. Disgusting? Yes. Surprising? No.

Different subject, a little bit surprising until you get to the end...
Long after last summer's "Montauk Monster" rotted away, another mysterious animal carcass has washed up on a Long Island, N.Y., beach.

"The beast smelled like a mix of low-tide and rotten garbage. It really smelled horrific," wrote Montauk-Monster.com blogger Nicky Papers. "I couldn't help but take numerous pictures of it and video clips."

Papers then goes on to speculate that the dead animal may be a result of biological warfare, and carrying the H1N1 swine-flu virus.

If this is a genetic mishap from Plum Island, we’d like to sell the remains to an independent lab for study.

Note: to read more about Plum Island Click Here They state that "We're equally proud of our safety record. Not once in our nearly 50 years of operation has an animal pathogen escaped from the island."

Unfortunately, it would not be surprising to me that this "Monauk Monster" could be from Plum Island. When you look at their list of projects, it seems that there is quite a bit of "research" going on that could very definitely cause some strange deformities in animals (and, for that matter, humans).

Now, back to the nation's financial situation...
The federal government, now that they have had a taste of ownership in the private sector, is considering an expansion of power. Yes, it's true. They now want to work out restrictions on executive pay in banks that received TARP money AND in banks that DID NOT receive TARP funds. The road to socialism continues. Surprising? Unfortunately, "I told you so" is probably going to become an old phrase.

To the topic that has been discussed, surprisingly a lot, on mainstream media outlets, Miss California, Carrie Prejean is allowed to keep her crown. Why does this subject surprise me? Well, for one, there is someone out there with beauty that also has brains and some sense of standards. Another thing...even with the backlash of her stating her opinion and being punished for it, Donald Trump is allowing her to keep her crown. I guess I didn't think that much of Donald Trump for one. So, his view of allowing her the honest opinion and still keeping her crown surprises me a lot! It doesn't surprise me that there are a bunch of photographer leaches that are using her previous photo sessions, even photoshopping them, against Carrie Prejean. She is handling it all like a seasoned pro, realizing that this is what happens when you stand by your faith and your moral standards in the year 2009. Listening to her is like a breath of fresh air. Finally! Someone is actually willing to risk their career for their integrity! Sorry Perez Hilton. You only gave yourself bad media coverage, making yourself into quite a joke and Carrie Prejean into the queen.

You know, sitting here at my computer with my broken nose, I can't stop thinking about how excited I am for Universal Healthcare. I think I'll daydream about that the rest of the day as I make plans to horde soft drinks before July hits. I wonder what Pepsi thinks of Obama's plans to tax the soda industry products. Weren't they a huge contributor/sponsor for his election?
