View this on the SECCHI-B HI-1: what looks like a large impact on the planet Venus. Just as comet Lovejoy passes nearby. The SECCHI website was "out of service" for the past several days -- now I think I may understand why.
A possibly large planetary collision occurred.
Search the dates starting on 12/24/2011 - through today 1/6/2012 (several recent days not yet available).

However, the link says that the page is not available and the video has been taken down by the user.

In addition to that, the word is that SECCHI (http://secchi.nrl.navy.mil/) was down during that time period.
All of the information except that initial video and the small tidbits that I show at the top of the post has been redacted from the Internet and the video is from 2010. Perhaps that is why DutchSinse took his post down. I don't know. Anywho, just thought I'd pass on the information.
Here is the print page view of what the impact shows on the video that DutchSinse would have had out there. It does show an impact and his video is from today.
