Is the Auto Bailout Consitutional?

Is the auto bailout, or any other Federal bailout constitutional?

Ron Paul regarding the auto bailout. "If one were to look for guidance in the constitution, there's no evidence that we have the authority to take funds from one group of Americans and transfer it to another group who happen to need something."

Obama on the constitution. The U.S. Consitution had deep flaws that continue today.

Obama. The U.S. Constitution does not address the redistribution of wealth and what the Federal Government can do on your behalf. He says that it's a tragedy the constitution wasn't radically reinterpreted to force redistribution of wealth for African Americans and that it is still and issue today.

We see that the redistribution of wealth is currently under way with the bailouts, regardless of the stalled status of the auto bailout. Eventually, even if it is following Bush leaving the White House, the bailout will happen for a plethora of other industries based on what Obama has stated in the past and on the Democratic leadership in Washington D.C.. Notice the change from capitalism that is currently underway. Capitalism is deteriorating. The more the government is involved, the less freedom we have, the less motivation we have, the less capitalism we have. Socialism is not America. We are on the road to nationalization.

If some specific companies get special treatment through a bailout, won't it make the playing field uneven?

Are these bailouts constitional? Is there going to be an end to these bailouts? These are issues that need to be addressed since our American tax dollars are funding these "bailouts". Transparency is the answer. Transparency will likely never happen.

Obama - The Destruction of the United States Constitution

"We are the change we seek." Nothing has been more eloquent and truthful if put into perspective. What change do we seek?

see this movie trailer

We are about to make history. Are we going to make the right change or are the people of the United States being wrongfully steered toward a good speaker, a rock star image, an image that is different than what has been in the White House, but without substance behind it that makes any sense to the U.S. or the world?

Why do people like Obama? He talks about tax credits and checks in the mail to American citizens when everyone is thinking about money and how they are going to pay for their bills and keep their homes.

"Facts About the Obama “Tax Refund”
On the stump and in debate, Senator Obama frequently trumpets that his economic plan would give 95 percent of all American workers a tax cut.

Here’s what this really means: Under Obama’s “Making Work Pay” plan, every worker would receive a $500 refundable tax credit, and every working couple would receive $1000.

Sounds good, right?

The key word here is “refundable.” According to the IRS, nearly one third of all tax filers– had zero tax liability after taking credits and deductions allowed by the IRS.

So what this really means is:

Under Obama’s proposal, these individuals - who have no tax liability - would receive a “tax cut” on taxes they never paid!

And guess who pays?

Is sending tax refund checks to people who already pay no taxes the right policy to encourage savings and work, or is it just another welfare program cleverly disguised as tax policy?

Some facts about just who would pay taxes under the Obama plan:

According to the nonpartisan Tax Foundation, 62 million Americans – about 43% of all tax filers – would have zero income tax liability. Under Sen tor Obama’s plan most of those non-taxpayers would get a check at tax time.
By calling these payouts “tax credits” and “tax cuts,” Obama has created focus-group friendly language that muddies the rhetorical waters and forces opponents to go on record against “lowering taxes.” The fact is, what Obama is advancing is wealth redistribution – sending tax dollars to people who pay no taxes, with higher-income (not wealthy) individuals footing the bill. "

Who Pays?

What is the definition of Capitalism?

"Capitalism is the economic system in which the means of production are owned by private persons, and operated for profit[1] and where investments, distribution, income, production and pricing of goods and services are predominantly determined through the operation of a free market[2], rather than by central economic planning. Capitalism is usually considered to involve the right of individuals and corporations to trade, incorporate, employ workers, and use money provided by central banks, in goods, services (including finance), labor and land.[2] In theory, production and distribution in a capitalist system are governed by the free market rather than state regulation,[3] with state action confined to defining and enforcing the basic rules of the market[4] though the state may provide a few basic public goods and infrastructure.[5] Classic unrestrained capitalism is confined mostly to theory today, as "all of the capitalistic societies of the West have mixed economies" with interventionist state regulation, social programs[6] and state ownership of some sectors."

Obama adamantly denies much association with ACORN. However you can follow the ACORN trail to Obama...

See this article from 1993 in chicagomag.com.

"...The most effective minority voter registration drive in memory was the result of careful handiwork by Project Vote!, the local chapter of a not-for-profit national organization. "It was the most efficient campaign I have seen in my 20 years in politics," says Sam Burrell, alderman of the West Side's 29th Ward and a veteran of many registration drives."

"...At the head of this effort was a little-known 31-year-old African-American lawyer, community organizer, and writer: Barack Obama."

"Obama shrugs off the possibility of running for office. "Who knows?" he says. "But probably not immediately." He smiles. "Was that a sufficiently politic 'maybe'? My sincere answer is, I'll run if I feel I can accomplish more that way than agitating from the outside. I don't know if that's true right now. Let's wait and see what happens in 1993. If the politicians in place now at city and state levels respond to African-American voters' needs, we'll gladly work with and support them. If they don't, we'll work to replace them. That's the message I want Project Vote! to have sent."

Why don't people open their eyes and see that Obama is change...the change that will definitely change our country...the change that will cause our constitution to erode into the same dust our Founding Fathers are buried in. Don't people see that our country...this great United States of America...will become a socialist society if Obama is elected and put in the White House?

Romney & "Mormonism", Take Your Own Time To Research Your Personal Concerns

Looking over other's sites regarding reviews of the Mitt Romney speech, I find very few positive reactions that are posted on the blog networking sites and the comments are full of ignorance (if I may be blunt).

Perhaps there are those who would assume that to remain ignorant as to the beliefs of another religion allows them the right to believe the "rumor-mill" that runs rampant, especially regarding religions who hold their faith sacred.

To change the minds of those who feel that need to retain their tunnel vision is a fruitless venture and a frustrating thought. There are so many beautiful and wonderful people in this world of every religion.

Perhaps a review of the speech would be worthy of my blog. I'd like to keep it here just for my benefit, if you don't mind. I thought it was well thought out, beautifully spoken, and emotional for Mr. Romney...you can see that his heart was into every word.

Initially, I'd like to provide the interview prior to the speech. I appreciated this as well.

Romney prior to speech

Here is the speech in full. I appreciate a news network willing to show the complete speech on their site.

Romney Speech on Religion

Now, for those who appreciate the speech in print, here is a copy of the transcript according to humanevents.com.

Romney Speech Transcript

The comments on the transcript site were very supportive, as they should have been. As I stated earlier, the stories regarding the speech that were submitted on the article networking sites, for the most part, were negative, anti-mormon related in either content or comments.

Everyone has their own opinion. However, if you read closely, most of those opinions that are educated will not have the negative connotations and exclaimations that the educated opinion commentator will have, unless they are filled with pure hatred for the religion or the people itself.

Draw your own conclusion. What do you think about the speech? Do you feel that every candidate should answer to their religious beliefs?

Veteran's Day...An Honor

In honor of Veteran's Day I show a photo of my Grandfather, who I adore, who served in WWII (for more information about WWII, please click on the link provided...Wikipedia).

My Grandpa hasn't expected much in the way of praise for his service to our country. He just seems to feel that he did his duty.

Without men of honor like my Grandfather, (men serving in the past and men serving today) under what circumstances would we find our freedoms...our basic rights?

Shouldn't we take pride in our men and women who take it upon themselves to put their lives on the line for what they believe in?

Even if you or Joe Smoe down the street don't believe in a certain war or cause in which the U.S. military are fighting, isn't the reason they enlist (to selflessly protect and serve our country) enough to warrant extraordinary respect?

They don't pick and choose who they fight or who the United States goes to war against.

Those who serve in the military firmly believe that we have freedoms...a constitution...basic human rights and that those rights warrant defense.

Many of these freedoms, constitutional and basic human rights are concepts other countries don't understand...don't fathom...and concepts many Americans take for granted.

Before you decide to place judgement on someone in the military
...before you decide to place blame for your plight in life
...before you put another wounded soldier in a V.A. hospital
...that is a hospital known to be run down with filth and decay...

Remember who are fighting for your freedoms.
Remember who volunteer to be on the front lines facing enemy fire.
Remember who volunteer to help others less fortunate than yourself.

People wish to immigrate here from other countries for a reason.

Are you willing to go on the front lines for them?

America the Beautiful (please see link...scout songs)
Words by Katharine Lee Bates, Melody by Samuel Ward

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for pilgrim feet
Whose stern impassioned stress
A thoroughfare of freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!

O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife.
Who more than self their country loved
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain divine!

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for halcyon skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the enameled plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till souls wax fair as earth and air
And music-hearted sea!

O beautiful for pilgrims feet,
Whose stem impassioned stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till paths be wrought through wilds of thought
By pilgrim foot and knee!

O beautiful for glory-tale
Of liberating strife
When once and twice, for man's avail
Men lavished precious life!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till selfish gain no longer stain
The banner of the free!

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till nobler men keep once again
Thy whiter jubilee!
