The jury for Casey Anthony did the right thing today by declaring Casey Anthony not guilty of murder. Because the evidence was very circumstantial and because of the twists and turns in testimony with questions of motivation and tactics, this is what reasonable doubt is.
During the speech that the judge was making, the Anthonys, being Cindy Anthony and George Anthony left with their heads down. In fact, when the verdict was read, they looked stunned and very stone-faced, not relieved. This is not surprising. They were going to send her down the river anyway and now they have to eat their words and they have some things to explain that have come out regarding their lives that are disgusting.
Casey Anthony will probably be sentenced for no time in jail and put on probation for the charges of lying to the police officials. Hopefully, she has bonded with a new family, being the lawyer and those helping him and those who have worked on this case for her. Hopefully, these people will get her the help she needs for years of abuse and neglect in her very dysfunctional family.
I'm not saying that Caylee Anthony's death wasn't covered up or that something didn't that wasn't right, but Casey Anthony did get the right sentence and now needs extensive help from her new family.
Thank you to the jury for spending all of this time in a prison of their own while trying to find the right verdict in this sad and frustratingly sick case.

What is so sad is that I feel like Casey Anthony has gotten away with killing her beautiful child. I think she always got away with things and others were always responsible for her wrong doings. She was stealing from her parents and grandparents and somebody always covered for her. She has destroyed her whole family and there will be a judgement day.
Sure, there will be a judgement day. However, regarding whether Casey destroyed her family, I think they did that (all of them) long ago. Thanks for the comment and for reading!
You so clearly and readily judge Casey's family, and hold Casey to no responsibility. You proudly state that there was no evidence for Casey having a hand in her child's death, but somehow you disregard the fact that neither was there was proven evidence to the claims of family abuse and dysfunctionalism.
All I "know" here is that something is wrong --- I don't claim to have the ultimate answer, as you do, about "who" was wrong.
A child is dead .... no one on the jury, seemed to care about that, and THAT is a sad symptom for our society. So your answer is to blame Casey's parents? It is NOT Okay with me that Casey went without a child abuse conviction, at the very least, for not reporting Caylee missing for the 31 days. I find your comment very arrogant.
SHUT UP YOU ARE SO STUPID, YOU BELIEVE CASEY WAS ABUSED BY HER FATHER, AND BROTHER???? HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE? THAT SCUMBAG KILLED HER BABY, PUT HER IN A TRASH BAG,AND THREW HER IN A SWAMP, AND ANIMALS CHEWED ON HER BONES!! AND YOU SAY THE JURORS WERE RIGHT TO NOT CONVICT HER, I HOPE YOU GET OFF THE DRUGS YOU ARE ON! BECAUSE THEY ARE CLOUDING YOUR JUDGEMENT! SURE SHE GOT AWAY WITH KILLING HER BABY,AND SHE'LL BE FREE TO HAVE MORE BABIES AND KILL THEM TOO! BUT ONE DAY SHE WILL DIE,AND SATAN WILL COME AND TAKE HER TO HELL FOR KILLING THAT BEAUTIFUL BABY,AND DESTROYING HER FAMILY!! MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOUL FOR STICKING UP FOR HER! I HOPE HE HAS MERCY ON THE JURORS SOULS TO! WELL CONSIDERING THEY LET HER WALK SCOTT FREE THEY DON'T HAVE SOULS
You know, the great thing about this country is that we get to own our own opinion. One, I never stated that Casey Anthony wasn't guilty. Two, I don't think it is our right to judge this person and send her to death row. We are not members of that jury. We did not have all of the facts and experiences they had. Additionally, there will be a true judgement later on, but for now, let's believe that the jury did what they should have done and given the correct verdict for this case. Anger is not the answer. This is one case in hundreds of cases going on around the country right now that is puzzling, sad, and will have a jury's verdict. I hope that you re-read what I have written and understand it to mean what I have said above. Additionally, I suggest deep breathing and possibly a good psychologist to get rid of some of these anger issues you must have to take the time to lash out on a simple blog post about one of the hundreds of situations going on around the country where death, neglect, and etc. of innocent children are concerned. I watch these trials and other events and feel so grateful for what I have and that I have a loving family and that my children are safe and great behaving, a husband that is loving and loyal, and etc. I hope that you look at your own lives and realize what you have in your own lives to be grateful for and realize that this event that happened is not your life. Thanks for the comments and thank you for reading.
I have a very keen intuition at times. I have also studied law for 7 years and devoted 2 years to jury training. Casey was a victim and in my opinion, was being set up, possibly because she always posed the threat of being able to reveal the family abuse she sufferred that she ultimately had disclosed by her attorney during the trial.
If you look at the pictures of her with that child, anyone could see that she obviously adored her. I don't think she would have ever harmed her. I can think of several people off the top of my head that had motive to set her up, her dad, possibly a jealous ex boyfriend, even Caylee's dad all had motive to possibly want to set her up, for any number of reasons. I was happy and think the Jury did the right thing, but sorely disappointed with the public that wanted to crucify her and made her anquish over the tragedy she sufferred so much worse than it was already.
